Prom Season is among us, and with finding the perfect dress, you have got to have perfect hair! Here is a simple tutorial of a sweet updo that we found from Oh So Pretty -The Diaries. Savannah has the easiest tutorial.

The steps are simple. Here they are:
1. Tease your hair at the crown. Then, smooth out the top of your hair.
2. Separate your hair into three parts. Separate one of the sections into 3 parts, and braid one of the parts. Then you will braid the 3 parts together and secure with a clear elastic. Repeat on all sections of the hair. Keep a clear elastic at the top of the middle section, but not on the outside braids. We want the middle braid to stay put but we want the outside sections to be looser on the sides of your head.
3. Roll each braid up into a bun and secure with bobby pins. It may take a few bobby pins to secure each bun.

Many thanks to all the wonderful participants and sponsors! This year’s Walk for Water was a great success. We had a ticket auction with great prizes that raised a lot of funds, 103.7 The Morning Edge provided entertainment, and Spoon Me surprised the participants with a post walk treat!
We raised $2,100 to go towards our Clean Ocean Action Earth Month Goal! If you’d like to see more photos of this great event, please visit our Facebook Fan Page!
This was just another event that was apart of our very successful Earth Month!!

Last Sunday, Rizzieri Aveda School for Beauty and Wellness hosted it’s first ever Catwalk for Water – “Rock & Recycle at Rizzieri” with a special thanks to Aveda, and Firecreek Restaurant. Several student teams competed with original hair, costume, and makeup design, as well as area salons. There was an amazing turnout, and we are very grateful for the tremendous amount of support. All proceeds went to the Clean Ocean Action, a non-profit that supports the protection and preservation of beaches in New Jersey.
