March 19, 2012The Easter Bunny Has Arrived!Rizzieri Aveda School students welcomed the Easter Bunny to Voorhees Town Center by painting little bunny faces on all the little bunnies in attendance. It was a fun family event, and here are some highlights from the evening.

September 14, 2011Frank Rizzieri at NYC Fashion WeekFrank Rizzieri, president of Rizzieri Aveda School, got a shout out from OK! Magazine in their blog about Fashion Week for the Spring 2012 Runway Shows after he provided stunning looks for the models of the Perry Ellis show. Frank is cited as providing casual, but clean styling. The models individual looks varied from clean cut with slicked back hair to full beards and long flowing curls, all provided by Frank Rizzieri for Aveda. July 16, 2010NAHA this weekend!The North American Hairstyling Awards will be held this weekend in Las Vegas, NV. Two of our Rizzieri students, Jessica Timbal and Sterling Magaziner, along with instructor Jonathan McKay will be attending the event after being awarded Beacon winners for 2010.
The NAHAs will once again be celebrating the “Haute Fashion and Inspired Design” of the professional salon industry. Special honorees will include Beth Minardi who will be presented with the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award, and Frederic Holzberger who will be inducted into the NAHA Hall of Leaders for his “tireless efforts to educate and inspire both current and future industry professionals.”

Rizzieri Aveda School students and staff spent the morning with the Voorhees Fire Department. They came out to tour the school, show the students their fire truck, and accept a donation. The students at Rizzieri Aveda School each paid $5 on Halloween to wear their costumes, instead of their usual uniforms. $400 was raised for the Voorhees Fire Department. The school decided to match the donation, and a total of $800 was given to the local fire department.
Rizzieri Aveda School will continue to fundraise to support international and local charitable organizations. September 12, 2009Rizzieri at Fashion WeekFrank Rizzieri, along with several Rizzieri staff members and students have been spending the week up in New York City at Fashion Week. Working with such runway shows as Elie Tahari and Richard Chai, students and staff are getting the chance to experience the industry in a whole new way. Providing and hair and make-up services for the models, Rizzieri students are getting hands-on experience in the high-end beauty industry. Staff members get to participate in the events, as well! June 8, 2009Customized Wax ClassRizzieri Aveda School for Beauty and Wellness will be offering a Customized Wax Class on June 12th from 4pm -6pm. It will be taught by Michelle D’Angelo. This class is available for Rizzieri students and alumni (generally from the skin care program. Please contact admissions as soon as possible to hold your spot in this class! |
