Cosmetology Instructors Professional Licensed Cosmetologist that enjoys working in a team environment and sharing knowledge with future professionals. Teachers License, not necessary, we will train.
Required: At least six months of salon experience and a valid New Jersey Cosmetology License.
Skin Care Instructors Needed (Full Time and Part Time)
Professional Licensed Cosmetologist with experience in skin care, that enjoys working in a team environment and sharing knowledge with future professionals.
Description of Duties:
- Prepare for class, presentation/teaching of curriculum.
- To ensure that the curriculum that is being taught reflects current standards within the industry, i.e. preparation and research.
- Ensure safe and sanitary practices by both students and instructors when practicing skin care and related sciences.
- Attend daily morning huddles and weekly staff meetings.
- Participate in special events; such as Career Fairs, student recognition and Earth Day.
- To project a professional image at all times to internal and external clients.
- Maintain academic records and ensure continuous evaluation is given to students on an ongoing basis, i.e. student performance in theory, practical and clinical experiences.
- Ensure client satisfaction by effectively managing clinic floor counsel and guide students' assist in resolving students issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Education: High School Diploma and be a licensed cosmetologist.
Required: At least six months of salon experience and a valid New Jersey Cosmetology License.
Other: Good verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy a plus, excellent customer service and presentation skills. Previous experience with Aveda products a plus.
