New York Fashion week 2017.
Obviously NYFW screams fashion and beauty – but it also shouts HAIR!
Our very own Frank Rizzieri was interviewed by In Style Magazine to give us a look at what it’s like to be a behind-the scenes cog in the New York Fashion week machine.
The author, Kim Peiffer, sets the scene for us of what it’s like to be one of the unseen must-haves. From photographers to interns and makeup artists to hair stylists, there is a carefully choreographed scene of near chaos that happens behind the runway door. This year Frank chronicles his day behind the scenes at Tibi.
The look was 80’s chic with subtle makeup and gorgeous hair. The tests were done and it was go time. Frank began his day with a workout to get the day started. With a 10:30 am arrival time, he walked through the doors at 10:15 and jumped right in. With tools in hand and a plan in mind Frank walks the reader through the chaos from his perspective.
Where one might see disorder, Frank sees potential and beauty. Styling is a process that takes us from 10:30 until showtime – at 2pm. The show was a hit. The 80’s photography inspired line, understated styling and excited crowd Tibi was a hit.
A big thank you to Frank Rizzieri for giving us an insiders peak into New York Fashion Week.
