Skin Care (Esthiology) School Junior Phase (0-300 hours)
Start at our New Jersey Skin Care (Esthiology) School by learning the fundamentals of dermanalysis, facial procedures, plant aromaology, and waxing. Study the related sciences of anatomy, physiology and nutrition, along with sanitation and New Jersey safety requirements. Lectures, demonstrations and workshops concentrate on developing your skills. Client consultation, retailing and personal development skills will also be introduced. You will round out this classroom skin care (esthiology) school phase by learning basic techniques including: Aveda products, facials; back facial treatments; waxing and eyelash and eyebrow tinting. Now that you have mastered our esthiology school basics learn how to put them to work while working on clients in our skin care (esthiology) school student clinic. The clinic phase allows you to master timing and technique to build confidence. During this phase of our New Jersey skin care (esthiology) school, you will be able to demonstrate the technical ability and knowledge needed for the written and practical examination required by Rizzieri School and New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology to obtain your Skin Care Specialist license. In addition to this you will learn makeup, chemical peels, and receive a certificate in microdermabrasion.
